relevant ? They refer in both cases to officers

who have pensionable emoluments, while this

legislation is concerned with officers who are not on the permanent staff and therefore have

no pensionable emoluments.

Whether the apparent conflict between Col.

Reg. 66 and the documents to which you refer

should be removed may be a question requiring

consideration;

but it does not arise here.
